Getting started

Customizing Your Branding and Menu Icons

Make SysOS feel like your own product by setting your logo, colors, and sidebar icons. This guide covers both workspace branding and per-icon customization.

Set your brand identity

  • Open Settings and find the Branding section.
  • Upload a light-mode and dark-mode logo.
  • Set your accent color; it propagates to buttons, links, and transactional emails.

Customize menu icons

Every icon in the sidebar has an upload slot, so you can swap the defaults for your own set.

  • Open the Menu Icons page from the Admin section.
  • Find the row for the module you want to rebrand.
  • Upload an image; it appears immediately across the app.

Shared across environments

Menu icons are stored once in a shared asset bucket, so an upload appears in every environment without re-uploading.

Tips

  • Use square, transparent PNGs for the crispest icons.
  • Keep a consistent visual style across all custom icons.
  • Bulk download the current set as a starting point, then bulk upload your replacements.

Branding in emails

Transactional emails use your light-mode logo and accent color automatically, so password resets and notifications stay on-brand.
