Planning Work with the Roadmap

The Roadmap module combines a kanban board with an epics timeline so you can track delivery from idea to done. This guide covers both views.

The kanban board

• Open the Roadmap module.
• Create items as cards and drag them between columns as status changes.
• Each card supports comments, attachments, and an issue key.

Card details

Cards work like issues: they carry a status, a reporter, dates, and links to other cards.

• Add comments to keep discussion with the work.
• Attach files for context.
• Link related cards to show dependencies.

The epics timeline

The timeline view rolls work up into epics and shows progress over time.

• Open the timeline at the Roadmap timeline view.
• See progress roll-up per epic.
• Spot dependency blockers before they stall delivery.

Tips

• Keep columns few and meaningful so the board stays readable.
• Use issue links to surface blockers early on the timeline.

Who can see it

The Roadmap is scoped to your workspace and is not visible to platform super-admins.
